Rachel Wilder (they/them) is an indie author seeking to publish their first urban fantasy novel, Heartlines, a deconstructionary take on the chosen one subgenre involving a trans man overthrowing the government.

Rachel has over fifteen years of experience writing, in fiction (short- and long-form), fanfiction (beloved), and grants (necessary evil). Rachel also holds a Master’s in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution.

Rachel was honored twice as a partial fellow by the Martha’s Vineyard Creative Writing Institute, and currently serves on the fellowship committee for LGBTQIA+ writers, BIPOC writers, and parent writers.
